Newcomers Tea 5th October at 4.30pm. If you have recently started coming to St Leonard’s, or have not been to a Newcomers’ Tea, you are very welcome. Church training: Disciplines of a godly leader. Sat 27 Sep 9.30am-12noon and Tue 30 Sep 8–9.30pm. There is space for 40 to come on Saturday (sign up sheet in foyer) and all are welcome on Tuesday!
Youth leaders: Safeguarding training Sat 27 Sep 12-1pm, or Tue 7-8pm, in conjunction with church training (see notice 5). Safeguarding training is a legal requirement for all leaders and helpers in our children’s and young people’s groups to keep the youngsters in our care safe and, importantly, to be seen to be doing so. All leaders and helpers therefore must attend one of these sessions please. Sign up sheet in foyer for the Saturday session (40 spaces), unlimited numbers on Tuesday.
Women’s Breakfast Sat Sep 27, 9am. Suzy Leafe continues our series, Women of the Bible, with a talk on Hannah. All women welcome, continental breakfast served. £3, students FREE. Flyers in foyer.
Decorating the church for Harvest: Sat 27 Sep 10am onwards. Offers of greenery welcomed, please bring to church from 10am onwards.
Harvest: Next Sunday 28 Sep we will be celebrating Harvest in our morning services. Donations of non-perishable food items for St Petrocks & Exeter Foodbank are invited.
Can you help?
- We need some more help with coffee serving after all our services. If you would be able to help out please contact Walt Terrell (evening services) or Mel Mullen (morning services).
- We need a few more people to help with powerpoint and sound during the morning services. If that could be you please get in touch with Ian Napper.
- Church grounds maintenance 9-11am, Sat Oct 4. Any help gratefully received. Please bring any secateurs, loppers, shovels, gloves, etc if you have them.
Concert of Prayer:Scott Drive Church, Exmouth, 10-12noon Sat Oct 4, praying for our area, our region, our nation and the world. The primary themes will be repentance and revival. All are welcome.
