After serving God in both Paraguay & Northern Argentina, they are now based in Asuncion, the capital of Paraguay. Chris is involved in advising on rural development & encouraging the local Anglican Ameri-Indian congregations. Alison is teaching science & Bible at the Asuncion Christian Academy.

 In Senegal less than 1% of the population are evangelical Christians, so there is a great need to make the gospel known, and to strengthen the very small evangelical church there. So Andrew & Helen's main focus is to get to know those they come in contact with as they live in Dakar, a city of 4m people. Helen works as a doctor in a medical clinic, and Andrew is teaching English to students & seeking to witness to them & others.

They are the International Directors for Personnel, based at OMF's International HQ in Singapore. Their main responsibility is to oversee the selection and care of the missionaries (about 1400) and their children (over 800). Most members work in the countries of E & SE Asia, but some work in the many sending countries on the home-side and an increasing number work in Diaspora ministry with E & SE Asians, who live or study in the western world.

Buttonfam2300 Served with Crosslinks as lecturers in the Uganda Christian University at Mukono, about 25 kms east of the capital, Kampala, near Lake Victoria for 9 years. They taught in the theology dept training men & women for ministry & leadership in the Church of Uganda & churches all over East Africa. Andrew & Maria work with CMS (SAMS) in Salta, Northern Argentina, where his father and grandfather were missionaries among the Indian peoples.
Andrew is setting up a new conservation initiative LAND FOR LIFE in the Chaco, (South America´s second largest ecoregion after Amazonia), where there are many churches of different denominations existing in a context of severe poverty because of deforestation & neglect of the land. 
He also acts as a consultant for Compassion International, assessing the impact of their work with sponsored children in S America & beyond.

Roger & Jos Sharland  work with REAP – Rural Extension with Africa’s Poor. After working across East Africa for 8 years, Roger founded REAP in 1999 to provide practical, accessible teaching & technology for the rural poor.

The central focus of their work is teaching poor Christians how to support themselves & be positive witnesses for Christ in their communities.
